Shipping and Returns


We deliver to Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, the US, Canada and the UK. 

For deliveries within Australia, we use couriers to deliver to metro areas and Australia Post to deliver to regional areas. 

Shipping is FREE when you spend $250 or more. If you do not qualify for free shipping, you can choose from the following shipping rates at checkout:

  • Courier ($9.95) for metro areas
  • Standard Post ($9.95) for regional areas
  • Express Post ($14.95) 

If you want delivery to a PO Box or parcel locker, please select either Express Post or Standard Post as our courier does not deliver to them.

For international deliveries, we use Australia Post International.

Orders are processed and despatched the next business day.

Our courier deliveries are carbon neutral as we offset 100% of the carbon emissions. For each delivery, our couriers calculate how much carbon is generated from the moment a parcel is picked up to when it's delivered. We purchase carbon offsets to support projects that prevent and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by the same amount to achieve net-zero emissions overall. 

**Impact of COVID 19 on deliveries 

Australian deliveries - Australia Post continues to experience delivery delays due to a high volume of parcels in its network and less air freight capacity. We cannot guarantee your order will delivered within the usual timeframe.

International deliveries - Australia Post continues to expect major delays due to flight cancellations and government restrictions. Australia Post is working to move items as quickly as possible but it has suspended its “Economy Air” international delivery service until further notice and as a result our shipping rates are more expensive than usual. Before purchasing, you should also check whether your country's internal postage delivery service is operating as usual.

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email notification with tracking information either from our courier agent, Shippit, or from Australia Post which will give you a more accurate estimate of when your package will be delivered.

A signature on delivery is not required but please note that while the courier or Australia Post will do their best to deliver your parcel, if you're not home and the driver thinks it's unsafe to leave it (eg. you live on a busy street or the delivery driver could not access your property), they will deliver it to a nearby location for collection by you. In the case of Shippit, this is generally a nearby newsagency and for Australia Post, a local post office. Please note we are not responsible for missing packages once they have been successfully delivered at your delivery address.

We deliver internationally to New Zealand, Hong Kong, the US, Canada and the UK. 

All international deliveries are made by Australia Post and once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email notification with tracking information from them. A signature is required to deliver your parcel and if you’re not home a calling card will be left and you will need to arrange for re-delivery.

Please note that international orders may be subject to additional import taxes and duties. In most cases, those duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination and these may vary widely from country to country. When you make a purchase from Hybernate, you are liable for any additional duties so please take this into account when placing your order. 


We want you to be completely happy with your new Hybernate sleepwear. We understand however that sometimes your order might not be what you wanted so we will gladly exchange your item or accept returns where the products are in new, unworn, unwashed condition with tags attached.

*Please note sale items are not eligible for refunds.

If you would like to exchange or return an item, simply email us at within 14 days of receiving your item/s and include your order number, the items you would like to exchange or return and, if it’s a return, the reason for return. We will then issue you with an exchange or returns authorisation with further instructions. After receiving that authorisation, please send your order within 14 days via trackable post or courier service to:

Once we receive your item/s, we will process your refund back to the original form of payment and notify you when this has been completed. It usually takes 2-5 business days for the bank to process your refund depending on your bank provider. Please note that any shipping charges will not be included in the refund amount*.

*FREE RETURN SHIPPING: If you pay with your Paypal account and then you decide to return your item/s, Paypal will refund your return shipping costs – up to $45 per return and 8 returns each year. For more information, click here.

For exchanges within Australia, we will not charge shipping for the new item/s to be sent to you.
